Its been long

Oh yes! It's been long since I been here, wrote something. I always thought when I started this my personal blog that I would dedicate 1 hour each day thinking about what good or evil thing I did today and pen then down in this blog. Unfortunately it very well looks like it did not work out that way. :)

Writing about self is a big task. If you read through the "My Experiment with Truth" autobiography of the Great Mahatma Gandhi certainly you would realize that. Every word, line, paragraph, pages you pass by you would think as to how can some body write so much truth about himself? But thats what Mahatma was known for. Truth and all but Truth.

Reading through this you would simply think that this guy is gone mad and writing something just because he wanted to write, because its been long for him. But then its you to the reader to decide.

Spoilt hopes of Rajsthan Royals

All hopes were set, set a good sccore and win the match....

but it all was SAD when the runs were minimal and not a good fight. Though the game went to the last over but it was alsways a goos over and a good partnership which could do the trick for KKR. And thats what happened. With a BAD start from KKR and wickets falling in quick sucession. It was all upto Lakshmi Ratan Shukla and Agarkar... and BOY what job did they do... Great work... This crucial patnership took KKR to home and a great upset in IPL....

IPL Season II - Destination South Africa

Watching our cricketer fighting each other to win the coveted IPL season II cup; it gives me immense pleasure to see players overcome the fear of overseas playing.

South Africa stint for many young players will definitely give lots of confidence and commitment. They will learn a lot from the African conditions and many overseas players. They will learn the art of commitment and consideration. They will learn about the passion involved in playing the game which is earning them millions of bucks. They will learn about the skill development. Playing cricket is not just about having the skill or the charisma; it mainly is about exploiting the skill and taking advantage of the strengths.

Most say, if you have it in you then you just simply have it but it’s not just about having it in you; it’s about possessing it and possessing it with passion and commitment. That’s what the player like Sachin, Shewag, Dravid, Ganguly, Kumble and may more legend like them give to the cricket world and the world out side. In this season of IPL II we are seeing the different shapes and sizes of these legends; they not just perform but are taking the cricket to a different level.

This does not only take skills, it takes more then that. It takes commitment, passion, vision and exploiting one’s strength. If you ask me, what I will see at the end of the IPL season II; then it’s not the winner team with the cup. It’s the evolution of commitment, confidences and respect for all that we are going to see.

All the best, IPL Season II

Know me to know more, what to know more?

Question raises a question, its human nature. You ask a question and before you get an answer for that question; you already have another one ask. Has this fast paced life style made us impatient? Do we want things to happen faster, if faster then even faster?

We want to grow fast, rise fast, ride fast, eat fast, sleep fast; fast, fast, fast… is there an end to it. No, there is no end. It’s always a start. Always a start; Just for a moment think, you were in collage, studying the subject you liked… again a question from me, ask yourself, the subject you are studying is really something that you liked and you always wanted to study? Very few people will have Yes, many will have yes and as the time passes by, it will be no. This is the typical Indian student mentality. I want to study this, but think for a moment did you really wanted to study this? Did you really pass you tenth grade or PUC to study this or do this?

Most would answer yes, but given some time to think and analyze many will say mmm… yes… no… of course yes… let me think no no no… it’s a no no… I never wanted to do this, I never wanted to study medicine, I never wanted to study engineering, I never wanted to study science, I never wanted to study business… many don’t realize what we have and what our potentials are. Did I always want to become to become an IT professional? Did I always want to become a doctor? These entire questions come up after you have become one.

So, how can we decide what we want to do and more important what we want to be? That’s where the “Know me more, what to know more?” principal come into focus.

There are two ways of looking at things… 1) Want to do 2) Have to do

In both the above reference, you have something in mind. The task, the job, the work, the thing is there, it’s only that we have to decide as to we want to do or we have to do. Most of us look to go with the second option. That is, we choose have to do over want to do. Why does that happen? Oh god, not again… one more question. That’s it, that’s the end… if we can answer that we know it. Why we have to do, once we know we have to do it becomes easier and our ability to do what we want to do increases.

The final conclusion of “know mw to know more, what to know more” lies in our self, our ability to ask question to our self, and answer them. The more we can do that, there is higher chance that we can do what we want to do and not what we have to.
